Player Experience Goal
Players will thoroughly experience the verb “reform” through Haze’s shifting morals and fearsome visual design, in aworld where every encounter and challenge becomes a catalyst for personal and narrative evolution.
They will feel a sense of willing sacrifice, anticipation, slight fear, and the thrill of challenging everything that stands in their way.

DESCRIPTION
Haze is a 2D gothic dress-up platformer game where you play as Haze, a genetically modified human who can assemble and disassemble her body parts freely. Every body part possesses formidable power, unlocking unique abilities. With her new power, this morally gray protagonist will stop at nothing to make her beloved Elysia Queen. Try to reach the central castle from your forested hermitage by collecting new body parts, overcoming obstacles, and defeating anyone or anything that stands in your way.
Developed in Unity with a partner over a semester, this slow-paced side-scroller is set in a gloomy forest following Haze’s journey, shifting into a solemn palace in a Kingdom ruled by a King who usurped power from the rightful heir. The player will unravel the heartbreaking narrative of a star-crossed love while exploring the theme of vengeance and rebellion against a nation.
